Michelle's Boudoir Session
Was such a great shoot with Michelle. Michelle gave a new look to Boudoir by using body suits for her shoot. The looks we created were just as intimate and gorgeous even though she was not wearing lingerie. Here is what Michelle had to say about her experience.
How old are you?
I am 21.
What do you do for a living?
I am a room assistant in an early learning centre.
What made you decide to do a boudoir session?
Kerry got in touch with me about the shoot and I thought why not give it a shot, as I knew it was something different.
What was your perception about Boudoir before your session?
I thought it involved showing a lot of skin e.g wearing just bra and undies.
Did you have fears about committing to a boudoir session?
I only feared that I won’t be comfortable during the shoot.
Was the session what you expected it to be or was it more?
It was more than what I expected, I felt very comfortable even though I was only wearing a bodysuit and a blanket lol.
What was your favorite part about your boudoir experience?
Everything, I liked all parts of my boudoir experience.
Where did you go to source your boudoir outfits?
I got my bodysuits online from boohoo, I got the nude bodysuit I wore from bardot and the rest of the clothes I wore were from Kerry’s boudoir closet.
How did you feel when you saw your photographs?
I was amazed about how beautiful and feminine everything looked.
What advice would you have for other women interested in their own boudoir session?
Be brave and book a boudoir session. It helps you to be confident about your body.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty and confidence as a result of the session?
I felt more comfortable in my own skin.
How did you like working with Kerry Sleeman, her team and other Collaboratives before and on the day of your photo shoot?
I love working with Kerry, I loved how she directed me and gave me tips on what to get and where to get it for the shoot.
Would you do it again and if so would you have changed anything?
Absolutely, and I would like to go for a pin-up look next time.
