Jeanie's Boudoir Session
It was such a breath of fresh air to photograph a mature aged lady. Jeanie was easy to work with, I did her makeup with airbrush makeup and hair was really easy to do do because it was short and Jeanie liked the messy look! Here is what Jeanie had to say about her boudoir photo session with me.

What made you decide to do a boudoir session?
For self confidence and because I have never done anything like that before and wanted to feel pretty.
What was your perception about Boudoir before your session?
I thought it was only for young girls.
Did you have fears about committing to a boudoir session?
I didn’t think I could look glamorous but Kerry made me look beautiful!
Was the session what you expected it to be or was it more?
Yes the session was much much more than I expected.....the makeup that Kerry did for me was exquisite....and very professionally done...and she also did my hair....a lot of care was taken by this gorgeous friendly lady.
What was your favourite part about your boudoir experience?
Well I loved the whole session... my favourite part was the makeup....and I was a little nervous but as I got into the swing of posing and Kerry put me at ease I just loved the whole experience.
Where did you go to source your boudoir outfits?
Kerry supplied some things and i used the local department stores.
How did you feel when you saw your photographs?
Surprise....I didn’t know I could look so glamorous .....I felt as though I could conquer the world.
What advice would you have for other women interested in their own boudoir session?
I would say don’t be hesitant...just do it ....Kerry will make you feel at ease from the moment she starts the session....it was the most exciting thing I have done for many years...age is no barrier.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty and confidence as a result of the session? Well I wasn’t very interested before the session as I thought i may be too old to do this ....but i realise age is no barrier for a boudoir experience ...i loved it.
How did you like working with Kerry Sleeman, her team and other collaboratives before and on the day of your photo shoot?
When i first approached Kerry and her team about the boudoir session I wasn't sure what to expect...but i was put totally at ease about everything that the session entailed...so by the time the day came for my photo shoot I was totally relaxed.
Would you do it again and if so would you have changed anything?
I would love to do this every year as i had such fun...Kerry is so professional in every way from beginning to end...and totally put me at ease.
